"God is Faithful"
Are you tired?
Are you feeling lonely even with family and friends by your side?
Are you feeling depressed and want a way out?
Are you feeling like the harder you try, the more you feel used up?
Are you feeling like "I'm just done?"
Are you feeling like it's too much?
Are you feeling like "I know God's got me but I'm just tired."
Are you feeling like God's requirement of you in a situation is overwhelming?
Are you feeling like you need a quiet resting place?
Perhaps there are other feelings, but let me share this with you. I've experienced all of the above feelings and more! If you can just hold on a little while longer and remember:
The Lord is our Shepherd. He will guide us in every situation! Sometimes
life feels like a bed of thorns and we keep trying to fight the battle, but if
we stop and surrender to God, that's when He makes us lie down in green
pastures (no fighting, the battle is over)! Jesus has won every battle for us!
God restores our soul if we surrender. He leads our spirits out of unrighteousness into an humble, loving, forgiving righteousness for His name's sake (it's about God getting the glory).
Life sometimes makes you feel like death is all over you in your situation, but God's word says it's only a "valley" you're walking through. It's just a shadow. It won't kill you! It will make you stronger! God is with us so fear no evil! He gives His comfort and His peace to the humble and meek!
Love your enemies. God will prepare a table not for us to gloat over, but to become humble. You see, that table He allows you to sit at is not something we earn, It's a privilege. Let your light shine in the presence of your enemy and / or trial so that your cup may runneth over with God's blessings. His healing oil will heal every hurt and pain and dry every tear! Let your light so shine while at the feasting table!
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
